Founded in 1984 as a non-OEM turbine service, maintenance, and overhaul mechanical contracting company to provide support for steam, gas/combustion, and nuclear turbines in the industrial and power generation turbine industries, Lovegreen Turbine Services, Inc. was purchased by John Wood Group PLC in May, 2001.
On January 1, 2006, Lovegreen Turbine Services was merged with other Wood Group turbine field services companies to create Wood Group Field Services, Inc.
Though our name may have changed, throughout the acquisition process, we’ve maintained a steadfast, unwavering commitment to our stated mission – that of being the industrial and power generation turbine service, maintenance, and overhaul service provider of choice.

With the Wood Group merger and the services offered 
by other Wood Group divisions, we can now provide complete turbine generator service & maintenance, including repairs and generator testing, for the hydro, fossil-fuel and nuclear generation industries.
We’re also a qualified mechanical contractor, providing millwright services for a wide variety of mechanical applications.
